resources // supportive care

This section contains information which may be useful to you in finding out about the different means of support which may be available to you in coping with cancer, whether you are a patient or a carer. A cancer illness and the treatment of the disease can lead to bothersome symptoms and side effects and this section includes information on how that can be treated. You can also find information on complementary therapies, dealing with feelings and emotional aspects of cancer and support available for this, and practical aspects of living with cancer – for example legal and financial matters.

If you cannot find the information you are looking for here, we recommend that you try other sections of the site, for example “Services” where you will find some information on local and national support and links under “Beyond PIES”.
